Panasonic by DST is a dedicated website for all Panasonic DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) phones for home, business and selected mobile phones.


Supplying Panasonic communication products since 2003, we are enthusiastic supporters of the brand; selling every model and part available. We specialise in tailoring a Panasonic cordless phone system to your exact requirements considering building size, number of users, user ability and specific application.

Are your products brand new?

Yes all items are brand new UK stock unless clearly stated as refurbished.


Can I return my product if I am not entirely happy?

If you have purchased a product and you are not entirely happy with your purchase, you can notify us of your wish to return your item to us within 7 days. We strongly recommend that you include your returns form and obtain a returns reference number from us before returning your item to ensure fast processing of your return. The item must be in exactly the same condition supplied (pristine condition), boxed with everything as supplied.


If items are returned as 'unwanted' and appear to be in a second hand condition then we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate fee.

Your wish to exercise a right to cancel must be sent to us in writing either via Post or eMail;

How long does it take to deliver an item?

We endeavour to ship all orders placed before 3pm for next day delivery. Unless the item has been ordered over the weekend when it will be dispatched on the Monday morning.


Who do you use for delivery?

Royal Mail and Interlink Courier


How can I track my order?

You can track your parcel on the courier website using the tracking reference number (which will be emailed to you). Royal mail orders are sent recorded delivery.


Can I place an order over the phone?

Yes. If you are not happy about ordering online, please do call us and one of our trained advisers can deal with your order. Delivery may take a little longer due to processing time.


How many handsets can I have on my Panasonic Phone System?

Most Panasonic DECT Telephones allow for up to 6 handsets including the main phone however some basic models only allow 4. This should be clearly stated on the product details but feel free to call us on 0845 87 87 877 if you have any questions.


Can I use any handset with my Panasonic Phone System?

If your Panasonic Phone system is GAP Compatible then yes you can use any other Panasonic GAP Handset with your system.


Is it hard to set up my Panasonic phone?

No, Panasonic home phones are incredibly easy to set up, all that you need to do is plug them in and away you go! Adding additional handsets or repeaters to your system is also very simple, you will find instructions in your manual or you can give us a call and we can talk you through it!


Can I use a headset with my Panasonic Phone?

All models will accept a cordless headset (link), if you want to plug a headset into the side of the handset you need to look for models with a 2.5mm headset socket listed in the product details.


Will my Panasonic Phone work in a power cut?

The Panasonic KX-TG6461 is the only model designed to continue to work during a power cut.


Can I block outgoing calls from my Panasonic Phone?

Yes you can block specific dialling codes, this varies by model and is set on each handset. Please call 0845 87 87 877 if you need any assistance.


Can I block incoming calls on my Panasonic Phone?

Yes you can put in specific numbers that will then go straight to answer machine or not ring the handset at all.


Can I transfer calls using my Panasonic Phone?

Yes you can take a call and transfer it to another handset and also use handsets to make free internal calls.


Can I listen to people leaving messages on my Panasonic Phones Answer machine?

Yes - this is called call screening and is on all answer machine models.


Do they make a tougher Panasonic Phone model for my warehouse?

Yes the Panasonic KX-TG6481 is a rugged model.


Do Panasonic make a louder easier to use model of Phone?

Yes the Panasonic KX-TG6591 is an Amplified and Easy to use telephone.


Do Panasonic make a mobile phone similar to my Panasonic home phone?

Yes the Panasonic KX-TU301 and KX-TU311 are great GSM mobile phones.

Answering Machine Remote operation - Using a touch-tone phone, you can call your phone number from outside and access the unit to listen to messages or change answering system settings. The unit’s voice guidance prompts you to press certain dial keys to perform different operations.


Auto talk - You can answer calls simply by lifting the handset off the base unit or charger. You do not need to press any button.


Baby monitor - This feature allows you to listen in on a room where another handset is located, allowing you to easily monitor from different areas of the house or place. The monitored handset (placed in a baby’s room, for example) will automatically call the monitoring handset or the phone number stored when it detects sound.


Bluetooth - At present only 8621 handset is Bluetooth wireless technology compatible. By using with other Bluetooth devices such as a mobile phone and headset, the following features are available: Copying phonebook entries from your mobile phone to a handset , Having a hands-free conversation by registering a Bluetooth headset to a handset.


Call screening - While a caller is leaving a message, you can listen to the call through the handset’s speaker.


Call share - You can join an existing outside call. To join the conversation, press {C} when the other handset is on an outside call. Note: To prevent other users from joining your conversations with outside callers you can turn the privacy mode on (default is off)


Call waiting or Call Waiting service - To use call waiting or Call Waiting Caller ID, you must first subscribe with your line provider. This feature allows you to receive calls while you are already talking on the phone. If you receive a call while on the phone, you will hear a call waiting tone. If you subscribe to both Caller ID and Call Waiting with Caller ID services, the 2nd caller’s information is displayed after you hear the call waiting tone on the handset.


Caller ID (Subject to line service) - When an outside call is being received, the caller’s phone number is displayed. Caller information for the last callers is logged in the caller list from the most recent call to the oldest.


Chain dial - This feature allows you to dial phone numbers in the phonebook while you are on a call. This feature can be used, for example, to dial a calling card access number or bank account PIN that you have stored in the phonebook, without having to dial manually.


Handset equalizer - This feature clarifies the voice of the person you are talking to, producing a more natural sounding voice that is easier to hear and understand.


Handset naming - Each handset can be given a customized name (“Bob”, “Kitchen”, etc.). This is useful when you make intercom calls between handsets. You can also select whether or not the handset name is displayed in standby mode.


Incoming call barring (Caller ID subscribers only) - This feature allows the unit to reject calls from specified phone numbers that you do not want to answer such as junk calls. When a call is received, the unit does not ring while the caller is being identified. If the phone number matches an entry in the call barred list, the unit sends out a busy tone to the caller, and then disconnects the call.


Increasing the range of the base unit - You can increase the signal range of the base unit by using a DECT repeater. Repeaters can be used in 4 directions – Please call DST for specific application advice.


Intercom - Intercom calls can be made between Handsets at no cost, if you have 3+ handsets then one can be on an external call whilst two handsets are used as intercoms


Key lock - The handset can be locked so that no calls or settings can be made. Incoming calls can be answered, but all other functions are disabled while key lock is on.


Mute - While mute is turned on, you can hear the other party, but the other party cannot hear you.


Night mode - Night mode allows you to select a period of time during which the handset will not ring for outside calls. This feature is useful for time periods when you do not want to be disturbed, for example, while sleeping. Night mode can be set for each handset individually. Using the phonebook’s category feature, you can also select categories of callers whose calls override night mode and ring the handset (Caller ID subscribers only).


One touch eco mode - The {ECO/R} button on the handset enables you to activate the eco function with one touch. By activating eco mode, your unit can reduce the base unit transmission power by up to 90% in standby mode.


Outgoing call restriction - You can restrict selected handsets from dialling certain numbers. You can assign up to 6 phone numbers to be restricted, and select which handsets are to be restricted. Storing area codes here prevents the restricted handsets from dialling any phone number in that area code.


Phonebook Categories - Categories can help you find entries in the phonebook quickly and easily. When adding an entry to the phonebook, you can assign it to one of 9 categories. You can change the names of categories assigned for phonebook entries (“Friends”, “Family”, etc.) and then search for phonebook entries by category.


Recall/flash - {ECO/R} allows you to use the special features of your host PBX such as transferring an extension call, or accessing optional telephone services.


Recording a telephone conversation - Calls can be recorded directly into the phones memory, A beep is present every 15 seconds to inform the other party that the call is being recorded.


Screen saver - The backlight goes dark when on a call or turns off completely after 1 minute of inactivity if the handset is not on the base unit or charger.


Soft keys - If the handset features soft keys then by pressing a soft key, you can select the feature shown directly above it on the display screen.


Speed dial - Dial keys 1 to 9 can each be used as a speed dial key, allowing you to dial a number from the phonebook by simply pressing a dial key.


Transferring calls and Conference Calls - Outside calls can be transferred or a conference call with an outside party can be made between 2 handsets.


Using SMS - SMS allows you to send and receive text messages between other fixed-line and mobile phones that support compatible SMS networks and features. Important: To use SMS features, you must subscribe to a Caller ID and/or an appropriate service such as SMS.


Wall mountable - The base and / or the cradle charger can be mounted on the wall, the usual method is via 2 screws and slots in the base.
